Admissions Process

The Visit
The best way to get to know us is to visit our school. We encourage you and your student to come for a guided tour of our facility. At that time, we will furnish you with an application packet. You will then complete and return all application materials together with the $80 fee and the required school reports and recommendations. This begins the admissions process. Families with students in K-12 may apply for needs-based financial aid; there is a $20 financial aid application fee.

The “Buddy Day”
We recommend making an appointment for a “Buddy Day” visit in which your student will spend a day at our school attending class with a student guide. “Buddy Days” allow your student to see the school in action, spend time with new friends, and become more acquainted with our school.

Testing
Because our goal at Pioneer Valley Christian School is to ensure the right fit for your student, both academically and socially, we require admissions testing in grades K-12 for all applying students. The results of the tests allow us to gauge your student’s potential for academic success.

The Interview
The most important part of the application process is the interview, which presents you with an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. It also provides time for us to get know you and your student, enabling us to better decide whether or not we will be able to partner with you in the educational and spiritual growth of your student.

Notification
In the last part of the admissions process, our admissions committee will review all of the information we have received and notify you of our decision for admission.

At Pioneer Valley Christian School, it is our desire to provide a Christian education to all qualified students.
