Elementary
The teachers in the elementary and middle school are all certified. We welcome the opportunity to partner with parents in helping their children develop the gifts and talents God has given to each of them. To this end, the classroom vision for teachers is threefold:
1. Incorporating the best instructional methods and practices to meet the educational, physical, social, and spiritual needs of all students;
2. Teachers working together to create an exciting, safe and positive learning environment based on sound educational research and supported by Biblical principles;
3. Communicating to parents the current practices and future plans reflecting excellence in Christian education.
Mr. William J. Cloues
Elementary and Middle School Principal
We introduced a new reading program, Foundations and Frameworks, in the fall of 2009. The program is built upon the premise that “engagement of thought is the foundation of reading comprehension.” Our goal is for each elementary student to become a comprehensive, independent reader equipped with the skills to help him or her increase achievement in all subject areas. Teachers focus on specific objectives, thought processes, and visual tools necessary for developing comprehension.
